Oneiric Regression (2019) is a piece for web browser that generates sound metaphors of dreams that are written to it. It creates a music that allows you to explore your dreams again. The language we use to describe any experience is metaphorical. The more words and semantic fields we use to describe the oneiric experience, the richer the sound experience that will be generated: the metaphor of the metaphor.
It also allows you to hear the 'oneiric regressions' of someone else's dreams.
This piece processes audio files on the internet under the Creative Commons license and recordings made with a cell phone during 2017, 2018 and 2019 in Mexico, the United States and Japan.
